About Hannah Kat

Hannah Kat is a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces designed and handmade in San Luis Obispo, California. This brand combines my love of fine art and fashion design through unique, handmade garments and bikinis.

I find inspiration for my work all the time in a variety of places, and I am constantly looking for new ways to strengthen my artistic abilities. My mission is to promote slow fashion while creating bikinis that are meant to last. Each bikini is designed, cut, sewn, and packaged by me in my bedroom and makeshift studio.

I am currently a third year student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where I study Graphic Communication. Through my studies, I have built a strong foundation in branding, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and most importantly, design. 

​

Visits to my hometown of Laguna Beach remind me why I was first inspired to begin making art. I will forever value the constant support from my parents, grandparents, and friends who were there to see my passion grow with each project I finished.
